Clean lines. Considered form.

We recently partnered with Genesis Australia on a film exploring the sculpted surfaces and refined detailing of the GV70, viewed through the architectural lens of Aidan Anderson, founder of The Local Project.

The idea was simple: draw a parallel between two disciplines grounded in proportion, restraint and timeless design. Architecture and automotive craftsmanship, expressed through light, materiality and intentional form.

Our approach centred on creating a visual conversation between Aidan’s perspective and the vehicle itself. Moving between built environments and the GV70’s sculpted lines, we framed the car not just as transport, but as a considered design object — one shaped by precision and purpose.

The production leaned into natural light, controlled movement and composed framing to echo the vehicle’s design philosophy. Every shot was treated with architectural sensitivity — symmetry where it mattered, negative space where it breathed, and close detail where craftsmanship spoke for itself.

The result is a film that feels calm yet confident. Minimal, but powerful. A study in how good design transcends category — whether it’s a home or a vehicle, the principles remain the same.
